The Mariners Bar was situated on Norbreck Road. This pub has now been demolished.

My local during the 80s , Some very handy security staff at one time. Martin was the manager and Barry I think owned it. Possibly someone else after that? The transition of Bodington's to John Smiths was not welcomed by all. Nice pizza served. Horrified to see it had been turned to rubble, on my last visit back.
