The Boars Head was situated at 39 Churchgate. This pub closed in 1992.

I worked at the boars head weekends 1976 with Gordon the barman we always had a nice quiet pint after everyone had gone I remember it getting broken into they used to have a big white dog that just sat at the top of the stairs and let it happen always was a favourite of young people great pub
