My grandfather , James Walton, was the Licensee
with his wife Mary Elizabeth Walton around 1926 when Masseys Burnley Brewery
decided to make it a redundant house. It wasn’t selling enough ale. My
afther and aunt were brought up there. Joan my aunt was knocked down by a
car outside the pub when she was 7. |
