The Neptune Inn was situated
at 29 Sandygate. This pub closed in 1914.
The building was for many years used as the canteen for
John Watts Ltd a cotton waste mill.
It
had a history of being a Former Transport worker and Ex-Service mans
club premises from 1935, but with a history of being a printers premises
and engineers workshop later till demolished, and now the site of
student accommodation block of flats. |
