The Waggoners was situated at 168 Colne Road.

I carried out my first relief management in East Lancs, cover to allow the Manager who was called Geoff some well earned days off. There was a lady called Annie that worked behind the bar and her daughter Joanne. The staff were wonderful and the customers colourful. The area of Duke Bar was a lively place with lots going on before people headed in to Burnley Centre.
