My Great Grandmother Bridget Pickavance used to work or
run this pub. It is possible that the pub closed late in the 1800's or
very early on in the 1900's. I think the building is still standing and
now a private house. I will try and ascertain the exact number of the
house if this will be of assistance.

My first local, Jim Fitzsimons was the landlord then
though in my dads day the landlady was Clarrie. Was a Cases ale house a
Barrow in Furness brewery. |
