The Strangeways was situated at 244 Liverpool Road. Latterly known as The Paddock Hotel.
This was the first pub Fred Dibnah stopped at during his final round Britain journey. Lovely footage of this stop in "Fred Dibnah's Made in Britain" series episode 2
