The Boars Head was situated at 26 St
Nicholas Street. This pub was present by 1912 when the publican was John
Tyson. Acquired from Yate’s Brewery by Whittle Springs Brewery, date
unknown. Whittle Springs acquired by Nuttall & Co in 1928, part of Matthew
Brown. Listed as a Matthew Brown pub. Demolished in 1960s, site clearance
for St Nicholas Arcade, now called St Nics. |
