Queens Head Inn

Site of The Queens Head Inn, 2014

The Queens Head was situated at 74 Church Street.  This late 17th century inn was converted into this typical 19th century masonic hall by Lancaster architects Paley & Austin in 1884/5. The balance of the 17th century building was demolished to make way for a new dining hall in about 1914.
