I worked as a cocktail waitree/barmaid
at the Triton in 1967/8. The landlord was a big Liverpool FC fan and the
players held parties or get-togethers there. I had the pleasure of working
those parties on several occasions and to this day I am still a fan of
Liverpool FC. At the time I worked there I was around 19 years old. |

My mum and dad were the landlords of
the triton from 1965 until 1969. We had many famous people who used the pub.
The Liverpool team used the pub on many occasions, dad used to travel with
the boys, on their games. I used to work in the paddy’s bar we had some
great nights and fantastic regulars I loved my time in Liverpool and still
support Liverpool. My mum and dad were Norman and Jo Mee they are both gone
now, YNWA still makes me cry and brings back so many wonderful memories. |
