My father Fred Whitby, was the first
Noahs Ark publican, it was 1959 i think when he took over with my mother
Dorothy. I left to emigrate to Australia, and when i returned 6 years later
my parents were in a pub in bromborough callled the archers. . i remember
the ark had a top team in the sunday league, we also had some great acts on
a saturday
night, i believe john lennon and the quarrymen were there one evening |
