Stanley Hughes	1962-1965	We lived here for the above years.Dad was the Licensee-Stanley G.Hughes. Seven of us in the family. Pub was not a Hotel at that time despite the name. I was 10 in 1962. Dad died in 1991,Mum in 2013 and youngest sister in 2004.Three of us left,two in Runcorn and one in Ross on Wye. Pub had many rooms and three floors but was in poor repair upstairs.Bar was bare floorboards but had a cosy Lounge with carpet and a fire.
