The Grapes was situated at 1157 Ashton Old Road, Openshaw. The publican from 1928 to 1941 was Augustus Potts, his father Henry Potts held the licence from 1910 to 1928. The pub was demolished in 1966 as part of the south Manchester regeneration scheme.
