I lived in Redhill Street (just around the corner from the Cotton)
between 1955-1968. I was a friend and customer of the Regan family who
ran the pub until I believe the early or mid 90's. The youngest son
Jimmy and I were great friends until worked abroad on several occasions
and thereafter travelled the world. I now live in London and I am
currently working on a book which is partly set in Manchester during the
period 1966-1973. |
