The Two Ships Hotel was situated at 54 Hope Street.

This became the Tap & Spile sometime in 1990/1, offering a range of traditional beers. Another Tap & Spile opened near the bottom of Drake Street after a couple of years, and The Two Ships reverted to its original name before closure.
