The Brass Handles was situated on the corner of Edgehill Close and Fitzwarren Street. This 1970s estate pub shut in March 2006 following an incident when two gunmen burst in and shot two of the customers. The gunmen were overpowered and shot dead with their own guns. The pub was demolished in 2010.
