The Brown Bull was situated at 187-189 Chapel Street. This pub was associated with the
Quality Street Gang, a group of criminals operating in Manchester in the
1960s and 1970s, and Phil Lynott - the gold disc for the album Johny The Fox
was reputedly hung on the wall. It lost its license in the 1990s and is now
used as a guest house. |
