The Rams Head was situated on Liverpool Road. Now used as the Bay Leaf Indian restaurant.

As a kid in the 1950’s we used to go to The Rams Head in the evening from Southport. My sister, myself and mum used to drive up to Southport from Ealing for the school holidays and go out on ‘mystery drives’ and always end at the Rams Head. Vimto and Smiths Crisps in the car park were the order of the day whilst listening to the ‘singing beer’ taking hold! Innocent days.
