The Ship Inn was situated at 58 Liverpool Road. The publican in 1895 was Mrs Agnes Jenks.

As a young boy we lived with my grandparents Jim and Allis Nixdorf who were the landlord of the Ship Inn Liverpool Road Warrington on the A57 next to the back of Crossfields soap works. My grandparents had the Ship from around 1959 to 1966. I have lots of happy memories and can still visualise every room.
