I was the captain of the darts team late 1970s to 1989 great bunch of genuine local lads Ian and barry quinn tommy malone dave asherst Welsh ronnie to name a few sadly some no longer with us. Landlady was Eileen large and boyfriend Ken conroy (also threw a mean dart) she always put on a fantastic spread and always packed the minibus with food and drink when on annual darts and dominoes outing. Best years of my life.
