Blue Bell

The Blue Bell was situated on Main Street. This grade-II listed pub closed c2010.

Listed building details:
Public house, formerly farmhouse. C17, altered and partly rebuilt late C19. Timber-framed with brick infill, Welsh and Swithland slate roof, brick ridge stacks. L plan. Front facing Main Street has been faced with brick and has canted bay window to ground floor, sash windows to 1st floor with segmental-arched head, C20 door and 3-light casement windows to ground and 1st floors of projecting cross wing to right, both with segmental-arched heads. Frame is exposed to right side of cross wing; large square panels with struts to wall plate. Interior has chamfered spine beams.
