The Coventry Arms was situated at 22 Halford Street.  This pub closed in 1964. Publican from 1937 to 1964 was Harry Blackburn.

My one recollection of the Coventry Arms was their magnificent collection of military cap badges, they had hundreds, fastened to the various pieces of woodwork behind the bar.
