I'm researching my family tree and have discovered way way back in 1861 relatives of mine owned a pub called the White Lion on Bedford Street and I'm desperately trying to get a photo of it. During my trawl of the web I found your site and figured it wouldn't hurt to see if any of your members know how I can find out more about this place. The address on the 1861 census was 29 Bedford St which makes it near the junction of Belgrave Road. Interestingly they had 4 German musicians lodging with them.
