The Gipsy Lane Hotel was situated at 45 Gipsy Lane. This pub closed in 1994 and has now been converted to a Sikh temple.

Alan Coe 1959/1966 Had some great times with my late brother Johny, Alan Marshall, Clive Smith, Tommy Clark, Mick Hollis, Terry Fradley and many more. Eloped to Scotland in 1966 to get married then emigrated to South Africa where I still live in the coastal city of Port Elizabeth. I would like to connect with anyone that knew The Gipsy or was a local.
Wendy Reeves (nee Coombes) 1962/1963 hi Alan Coe I do remember you I was going out with Johnny at the time. he lived a 4 colin place. we went in the pub
John Frisby 1970/1996 Customer most nights.
Janet Mills late 1960s Had my wedding reception here in October 1969. Although I was terribly wound up and excited so I do not remember much of that day. Cannot believe it is now some sort of temple.
