Anchor Inn

The Anchor Inn was situated at 2 East
Street. This pub dates from 1865 and was extended in the early 20th
century. It also housed a small tinsmith workshop in its grounds, which was
later demolished to create more parking space. The Anchor is now used as a bed and breakfast establishment. |
