There wasn't a sink for washing your hands in the mens for a few years - and the one mens toilet didn't have a seat. There was a gothic lady in the late '90s who owned a massive great dane called Toots, and it was a regular occurrence to come back to your table after going to the toilet to find Toots was sat in your seat and had drank your pint. However it was a great pub - you could rely on it for great music, with live bands every weekend - which showcased new bands every Tuesday. It had good acoustics for a small venue.
