The Blue Lion was situated on Stanbow Lane, behind The White Hart. This pub closed on 29th June 1964 and was demolished in the same year. The publican in 1896 was G Maxwell.

The Blue Lion was owned by the Soulby, Son & Winch brewery until 1951 when it was purchased by JW Green of Luton.
