The Hop Pole Inn was situated on Main Road. This pub was present by 1842 when the publican was John Measures. It closed in 1928 following the death of the publican, Charles Stainsby and is now in residential use. His youngest daughter and her husband continued to live there until the 1970s when they sold it and moved to Spalding.
