The Good Intent was situated on Church Road. This mid-19th century inn converted to a shop and post office around the year 1970. The two-storey building is constructed of brick with a pitched pantile roof with a lean-to on the northern side. The front elevation has a modern stone, or faux stone, cladding exterior. The ground floor façade has a central doorway flanked by a uPVC bay casement window at either side; the ground floor windows were not originally bay windows. The first floor has two uPVC mock-Georgian casement windows.
