The New Inn was situated on Fodder Dyke Bank. This pub was in existence from at least 1835 and demolished at some point between 1957 and 1999. The inn had two buildings, one with a rectangular plan and another with an L-shaped plan. The L-shaped building was probably a stable for travelers' horses and the other building the main part of the inn.
