The Yarborough Hotel was situated at the junction of Bridge Road and Ashcroft Road. It closed in 2009 and has now been converted to a fish restaurant. Originally used as Ashcroft Boys School, then a pawnbrokers prior to conversion to a public house in 1898 when the licence was transferred from The Bulls Head.
