Lock Inn

The Lock Inn was situated on Immingham Docks. This pub was unusual because it was on the docks with no public access. It has now been demolished.

I visited that pub many times duri g my time sailing in the Swedish Merchant Navy on oil and chem tankers, one of them was M/T Ek Fors. Remeber that the staff from the sea mans club drowe us both ways when they had time. Had a lot of fun in that pub. Had my first Newcastle Brown and Salt and Vinegar crisps there.
Little bit sad to know the pub is gone now.

Tommy Tomqvist   I remember this place from my days on the Finnish merchant fleet. Once me and head cook went to buy me new shoes which I got and then went to Lock Inn for a pint. And another and another... 2nd mate came to get us back onboard M/s Najaden.
