The Three Horseshoes was situated at
the corner of Seadyke Road and Wash Road. The publican in 1937 was Charles Ernest Mitchell.

The Three Horseshoes was one of ten pubs auctioned off
by the Smith family of Gosberton in 1951. According to the Lincolnshire
Standard of 1 December 1951, "Bidding started before a crowd of 100 at
£12,000 . . . at £40,000 the properties were knocked down to Mr Sidney
Motion of Sidney H & Graham Motion, on behalf of Messrs Morgan brewers of
Norwich". |
