Opened in 1790 as The Anchor and rebuilt in 1820. |

This pub has now reopened as The Lincolnshire

I lived here from 1933 until 1950. My
grandfather was Walter Wilson , he was also captain of Lincoln City F.C. My
grandmother, Margaret carried on after he died until 1950 approx. My mother
ran the “Effie bar” at the same time. |
