The Druids Arms was situated at 18
Stamp End. This pub was present by 1843 when it was known as The Tally Ho,
and closed in 1913. When put up for sale in 1894 the property was described
as 'in a capital state of repair with a large frontage to the main street
and the accommodation comprises on the ground floor a dram shop with
separate entrance, tap room and living room. There is a good yard with
entrance from Silverwood Place. The property is situated close to the
foundries and the new street from Monks Road'. |

I have found a reference to work at the Druids Arms, Stamp End, Lincoln, in
a ledger from the Lincoln architect firm of William Mortimer. The
undescribed works were conducted during Dec 1897 and Jan 1898 by a Mr
Robinson (no details) for the proprietor Mr Bean (no details). |
