On 25th April 1846
William Smith, labourer, was accused at Lincoln Quarter
Sessions of stealing a sovereign, a half crown, 2 sixpences and a canvas
purse from Thomas Reynolds, labourer, of Auborn, in the Sloop public
house, Newland, the parish of St Martin, Lincoln. Reynolds' pocket was
picked during a fight in the pub. |

On 31st March 1854
William Price, labourer, was accused at Lincoln Quarter
Sessions of stealing a half pint, plated copper measure from Thomas Drakes
of the Sloop public house,
