The Lindum Hotel was situated at 32-33 Broadgate. This pub was opened in 1864 and closed c1990. It was also known as the Lindum Stores and The Cricketers Arms. The publican in 1919 was John Horton.
 
This pub was owned by the Soulby, Son & Winch brewery.

John Groome 1965/1970 At my time of using the pub the landlord was Albert Veale. His wife, Dolly, was always willing to knock some food up for us impoverished teenagers..
