The Spread Eagle Tap was situated at 4 Waterside North. This pub was present by 1842 and closed in 1923. It was previously known as The Jolly Sailor, The Tiger and The Spread Eagle Vaults. Now demolished, the site lies under the Waterside shopping centre.
