The Travellers Rest was situated at 119 Canwick Road. This pub closed in 2010 and has now been converted to flats.
Billy and Jean Crowder took the pub on in January 1979 from an Australian couple, alterations in the pub turned the Bar around and opened up the rear room as a pool room. The travellers rest a pub which didn’t allow travellers. They left in 1982.
