The Volunteer Arms was situated at 11 Northgate. This pub
has now been demolished with Northgate Court built on the site. Itwas owned by the Soulby, Son & Winch
brewery until 1956 when it was purchased by Hewitts. Publican in 1881 was
Thomas Emperingham Bradley. |
