The Packet Inn was situated on Moorhouse Road. I was brought up next to the pub which was closed in the 1950s, we lived in the shop next door, which closed as a shop at the same time, round the back we had the stables for the horses of guests overnight, while next door the buildings were for the coaches to stay.
