The Vernatts Inn was situated at Sharpes Bridge. This pub was acquired by Soames Brewery in 1930 and sold to Steward & Patteson in 1949. It closed in the 1960s. Previously known as The Lamb & Flag, then The Parting Pot, this pub has now been demolished.
