The Nags Head was situated at 64 Eastgate.  This grade-II listed pub is now used as the Ivy, an American-style bar.

Listed building details:

Cl8, 2 storeys, rendered, with Welsh slate roof with brick stacks at gable ends, Wood eaves cornice. 3 windows in moulded architraves, no glazing bars. 2 canted bays on ground floor and doorway with panelled pilasters and foot scrapers. Stone plinth.
