The Red Lion was situated on the Market
Place. This grade-II listed pub is
now in residential use. Present by 1872 when the publican was George
Pickwell.

Farmhouse, now house. Late C18, mid
C19. Rendered and colour washed brick. Pantile roof with single gable and
ridge stacks, decorated eaves. 2 storey, 5 bay front probably truncated to
right in early C20. Doorway to right with flat head and partially glazed C20
door. Single plain sash to right, 3 plain sashes to left, all with segmental
heads. 4 small glazing bar sashes above. |
