Pat Mothershaw 1965/1975 My Dad Fred Jackson ran this pub and turned it into an amazing music pub.
Gary 1974/1975 We had a football team called Rutland that used to run out of The Raglan. The guvnor used to put on rollmops and prawns on a Sunday after our games, as we used to all go back for a couple of pints. Sad to see its demolished, had some good times there.
Tony Agar 1957/1969 Lived next door to this pub. Lots of memories of standing outside with a bottle of lemonade and plate of cockles while mum and dad were inside.
Amanda McKimmie 1973/1995 It was a beautiful building with a neglected yard which could have been utilised. Around the late 70s and early 80s the Management had zero respect for any neighbours as the music was deafening and made our lives a complete misery. Petitions across the estate and eventually action was taken then there was harmony.
