The Woodman was situated at 119 High Street. This former Watney’s
pub was established by 1870 and rebuilt in its present form in around 1930.
It had closed as a pub by around 2006 and now operates as a venue
for wedding receptions and other special events. |

I used to have a beer in here , when I was on my lunch
break, I used to work in sugar house lane , at Petrushkins they made
cardboard boxes for lots of companies. |
