This pub opened in 1891 as the Lord
Randolph Churchill, being renamed the Ringwood Castle the following year.
In its early years it had a billiards room and a bowling alley. It was
a Truman’s Brewery pub, acquired by Greene King in 2001. It became
run-down and closed in 2009. It was demolished in late-2010 or early
2011 and replaced by flats. |
