The Duke Of Norfolk was situated at 30
Massingham Street.
This pub was built by surveyors Hammack & Lambert in around 1850 as part of
the development of the Globe Fields estate of William Pemberton Barnes. It
was a Taylor Walker Brewery pub and by the early 1990s seemed lost in a
backstreet time warp. It closed in 1999 and was converted to residential
use. |
