Fish & Ring

The Fish & Ring was situated at 141a White Horse Road. This pub was established in 1866 and rebuilt and enlarged in 1936.  It was a Charrington’s Brewery house and the exterior featured some fine Charrington’s signage, much of which is still visible today.  It was well-known in the 1980s for its beer quality and won a number of awards.  At this time it also continued to feature an East London Fives dart board.  The pub closed in 1999 and was converted to private residential use.
