The Arabian Arms was situated at 234 Cambridge
Heath Road.
This pub was established by 1869 and
was rebuilt in its present form in 1902. It was a Watney’s Brewery pub and
had been renamed Beachcomber by
1983. It then went through a spell named Martin’s and
by 1993 had become Metropolis,
a ‘gentlemen’s club’ –
it continues in that guise today. |
